Happy Birthday Ben Priday!

I was sad to hear that Ben’s birthday was the day after Thanksgiving which was when both Jenny (my teammate) and myself were back in the States for weddings. I was sorry to miss both Thanksgiving and Ben’s birthday (and Allister’s birthday (city teammate)), but at least I was able to get Ben a small gift from the States.  Ben, Elizabeth, and Beth were also able to have some fun celebration with a Thanksgiving meal with students, a birthday dinner at a wonderful pizza shop downtown, Pizza Fan, and they also had a bigger and better Thanksgiving meal with the whole city team that weekend.

Even though I did miss out on some of the celebration, it is just another great event that I have to miss and accept. I am still very grateful for Ben and all that he has been able to do to help our team, his students, our community, and more.
