City Team Hiking
Every year at the start of the fall semester, my city team (both at the Yanshan University and my university (Hebei Institute of Foreign Languages) get together from some training and fun times together. This year, like two years ago, we went for a nice hike at a nearby mountain, Pantaoyu Mountain (蟠桃峪山).
It’s become slightly more commercialized than from the past, but it was still very nice. We even encountered a flock of mountain goats along the trail. It is such a beautiful area! It is not a very polluted area, and the vegetation is a great reminder of the brilliance of creation.
Overall it’s a fun time to walk across rivers, hike a small mountain, peer out above the valley and rivers, and spend time with wonderful teammates.
